Self-fertilized steel recipe, the cost is almost free!
Fertilizer plays an important role in providing nutrients to plants to keep them healthy and fertile.
Additionally, adequate nutrition not only helps the tree grow, but produces fresh, green leaves.
Want fertile plants without having to spend a lot of money? This time SK will share ‘natural’ recipes that you can prepare yourself at home that are simple, cheap and effective.
Facebook user Syafiq Baharin, through a home gardening group, shared how to make fertilizer using natural ingredients.
Do-it-yourself fertilizer recipe (almost free!)
I learned this liquid fertilizer recipe from the Jadam Method from Korea. So far, the main fertilizer that I use regularly apart from the occasional steel goat.
Thank God for the results. With the permission of Allah SWT. The price is almost RM0. Just the cost of buying the barrels, if you use existing barrels, it’s approximately Zero Cost.
If you want to make it, you need 3 ingredients
1. Rain water (if not, tap water will do but allow 3, 4 days before this fertilization.)
2. Leaf mold.
– Look for a big tree under a tree with lots of fallen dry leaves, the thicker the dry leaves collected the better.
-Find a place, push the dry leaves to the side. There will be a dark first layer of darkness.
– Take two handfuls of dark soil, that’s what is called Leaf Mold.
3. Wild grass around the house or anywhere, if the machine doesn’t remove the grass. (Any type of weed is fine)
This is the way to do it
1. Take a barrel, this barrel lives up to its promise. Even big paint will do. But if we want to use it for a long time, go to the hardware store and ask if the blue barrel is not available. I bought it for RM45 that day.
2. Fill 2/3 of the barrel with weed. Put it in the barrel.
3. Fill the barrel with rainwater until it is full and covers all the weeds.
4. Put two holes in the leaf mold in the barrel, let the soil sink in the water.
5. Cover and leave at least 2 weeks in the barrel.
6. After 2 weeks, you can start. The longer it gets, the more steely it becomes. Even after a year there is no problem.
Earlier, after the turmoil, the fertilizer was already rotten like the smell of a flood, but it is getting less and less.
How to use this fertilizer
1. The usage ratio is 1:100.
This means that for every 1000 ml of water, 10 ml of fertilizer is added. Stir well.
-Can water any tree once a week.
– Want to spray the leaves on the leaves, but filter the fertilizer first because the spray doesn’t clump.
If 1:100 is less dense, it can be up to 1:50 (1000 ml of water, 20 ml of fertilizer water).
But start with 1:100 first. Just up if necessary.
If the fertilizer is running low and adding, just add a handful of leaf mold to the same barrel, fill the weeds and rainwater. That’s right.
The cost of making this fertilizer seems like that much, everything is there.
Imagine using a full barrel of blue fertilizer, how many ml per use and the trees will be fertile, God willing, how long can you save on fertilizer costs?
