A man’s body was found floating in the river in Pasir Puteh

Kota Bharu, June 18 (named) – The body of a man was found floating in a river near Tualang Tinggi Village in Pasir Puteh near here today.

Head of Pasir Puteh District Police Chief Zaizul Rizal Zakaria said the Selising Police Station received information about the discovery at around 3:30 pm.

“Acting based on information, the team of officers from the Selising Police Station and the Pasir Puteh District Police Headquarters rushed to the scene before finding a floating body in the river.

“Further inspection in the surrounding area has not found a criminal element that might be related to the incident,” he said in a statement today.

He said the corpse had been sent to Tengku Anis Hospital in Pasir Puteh for autopsy and the case was classified as a sudden death.
