Further instruction about Zara Qairina’s death – AGC
The Attorney General’s Room (AGC) today issued an official statement about further direction about the death of the Form One Student Form, Zara Qairina Mahathir.
After the department reviewed the complete report of the initial investigation submitted by the Malaysian Royal Police (GRDP) on the case of Zara Qairina’s death, the department argued that there was a need for further investigation by the GRDP to ensure that all aspects of the investigation were fully carried out.
In this case, the complete report of the initial investigation was returned to the GRDP with several instructions, including the need to hang Zara Qairina’s body back to enable the post-mortem procedure to be carried out on the body. This step is to ensure that the PDRM obtains additional information and evidence needed to complete the investigation of the death of Zara Qairina.
