Heavy Rain in 10 Countries, 3 Regions
A total of 10 states and three Federal Territories (WP) are expected to experience heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds until 18.00 this afternoon.
The Meteorological Department of Malaysia (MetMalaysia) informs that weather conditions will affect the entire state Selangor, Malacca, WP Kuala Lumpur, WP Putrajaya And WP Labuan.
Apart from that, rain will also occur in the Langkawi Regency area Kedah. Upon entry Silver also involving Kinta, Kampar, Batang Padang and Muallim Regencies.
In the country Kelantaninvolving Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Bachok and Pasir Puteh Regencies.

Moving on to the states SarawakHeavy rain is expected in Kuching (Bau and Kuching), Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman (Sri Aman), Sarikei (Sarikei and Meradong), Sibu (Sibu and Selangau), Mukah, Kapit, Bintulu (Tatau), Miri (Subis and Miri) and Limbang.

From Sabah also involves inland areas (Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Turtle, Beaufort, Nabawan and Tambunan), West Coast (Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Kota Belud), Sandakan (Kinabatangan and Beluran) and Kudat (Kota Marudu).
A warning is given if there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity exceeding 20 mm/hour which is expected to occur for more than one hour.
“A thunderstorm warning is a short-term warning in effect for a period of no more than six hours for a single issue,” he said.
