Ready for food for Gaza, UNRWA urges the border gate to open
The situation in Gaza is increasing when the population is starving in a critical stage. Food assistance that does not reach there worsened the situation.
Recently, the UN Assistance and Working Agency for Palestinian refugees in West Asia (UNRWA) shared the supply of food waiting to be brought to Palestinian territory.
In a post on the X website, Unrwa said they had enough food for the entire Gaza population for more than three months.

“Inventory has been stored in warehouses including warehouses in Al Arish, Egypt and now waiting to be allowed to enter,” he said.
Unrwa urged the border gate to open and let the party carry out their duties.
“Inventory is available, the system is ready. Open the boundary door, stop restrictions, allow UNRWA to carry out their duties and help those in need including one million children,” Unrwa said.
Previously, UNRWA also called for Israeli sanctions in the Gaza Strip to end to end the ongoing hunger.
“We receive a despair message about hunger from Gaza-including from our own coworkers,” he said on the X website.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Commissioner Unrwa Philippe Lazzarin said on Sunday, said the food supply was only a few kilometers from Gaza.
He also told him that he was not allowed to bring help since March 2.

Next, he urged political leaders to try to stop starving.
“Only the willingness and political leadership can stop this full scale,” he said.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths of hunger and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip increased to 18 cases in 24 hours.
The total number of famine deaths now reaches 86 people, including 76 children, most of the northern Gaza, where around 17,000 children suffer from acute food shortages, named reporting.
