KUALA LUMPUR, 6 Juli (Bernama) – Mayat almarhum Kopral Mohd Haswansir Julnasir, anggota Tentara Malaysia (TDM) yang meninggal selama pelatihan selam di Kuantan, Pahang, Kamis lalu dimakamkan di Kampung Gusung Melanta Tesi Cemetery, Bum Bum Bum Bum Bum Bum.
TDM said in a statement today that Mohd Haswansir, 30, was previously sent to the Tengku Afzan Hospital (HTA), Pahang for autopsy before being flown to his hometown using the Royal Malaysia (RMAF) C130 aircraft from Kuantan Air Base to Tawau, at 7.30 pm.
“TDM will establish an investigation council to conduct detailed investigations to identify the true causes of the incident, and ask all parties not to spread speculation and respect the privacy of the family in facing this difficult time.
“Head of Army Jen Tan Sri Muhammad Hafizuddain Male and all TDM residents expressed their condolences to the family of the deceased and also the sadness of the loss of trained citizens,” he said.
The statement said that the deceased was a special elite of the Special Ship Squadron (SPK) from the Special Movement Group (GGK) from the governing regiment.
According to TDM, Corporal Mohd Haswansir was reported missing at 12:15 pm during training using a closed circuit system (CCBA) in the waters of the Port of Pier, Kuantan.
“TDM activates the search and rescue operation (SAR) immediately and by integrated cooperation, the body of the deceased was discovered by surface patrol troops from the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) around 10 o’clock yesterday.
“The location of the discovery is estimated at 500 meters from the scene and when found, all equipment including CCBA Dive and M4 weapons were found with victims,” the statement said.
According to TDM as an elite member, the deceased is a very trained member of the expertise of amphibious attacks and maritime infiltration operations and training, he is part of the need to maintain high -level skills.
