The Islamic Center of Windhoek Name Namibia Madrasah along with Tuanku Syed Faizuddin

Kuala Lumpur, June 15 (named) – The Center for Islam Windhoek named his madrasa as “Faizuddin Academy for ILM and Dzikr” to respect the King of Perlis Acting, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalinlulil.

This is the result of Malaysia’s efforts to Namibia Datuk Dr. Mohamad Rameez Yahaya, as a recognition of its contribution in the form of goods and finances to the Windhoek Islamic center which manages the affairs of the Muslim community in Namibia.

Rameez in a statement on Sunday said two contributions including the preparation of the people’s kitchen for those who need it after Friday prayers.

He also told me that the king of acting Perlis, through the International Islamic University of Tuanku Sied Sirajuddin (Unasisaj) would offer scholarships to Muslim Namibia students to pursue higher education in Perlis, Malaysia starting this September.

So far, four Namibia students have been accepted to pursue higher Islamic studies in Unasisaj, he said.

At the event, Windhoek’s Islamic Center management also expressed his deepest appreciation to Malaysia – Non -Arabic and Non -African countries – for his assistance since Islam began to establish Namibia through the first new relative group in 1979.

Rameez hopes that madrasas will be the starting point for the spread of Islamic teachings to help the Namibian community understand the role of Islam in building a united, peaceful and harmonious society.
