The old woman was arrested, allegedly planning Netanyahu’s murder
A 73 -year -old Israeli woman with chronic disease has been accused of killing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu using a rocket launcher, AFP reported.
According to the accusation sheet, the woman was an anti-government activist from Tel Aviv whose identity was not revealed. He is said to have decided to kill Netanyahu after knowing about his illness.
The prosecutor quoted his statement that said that he wanted to ‘sacrifice’ himself to ‘save’ Israel from the current government.
He was reportedly sharing his plans with a man who is also an activist and asked him to help him buy a rocket grenade to commit murder.
Senior residents are also looking for help from people to gather information about the schedule of movement, location and security control.

However, the man refused to get involved and try to persuade him to cancel his intention. After realizing that the woman was still insisting, the man made a report to the authorities, which then caused his arrest.
The prosecutor asked the woman to be placed under the House of Representatives until the trial was over, said that she had the potential to endanger public safety.
As proven by his statement that he was willing to die to achieve that goal.
For the record, an Israeli man was also arrested last year after threatening to kill Netanyahu in the delivery of social media.
Meanwhile, the murder of high profile politicians is not a stranger in Israel. In 1995, Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was killed for supporting Oslo’s peace process with Palestine.
