Thousands of Lantt Rivers, more than 500 kg of city fish have been captured by the Spia
The existence of various species of freshwater fish in this country has its own uniqueness. Not only that, fish that can be found in rivers, lakes or mines are also a favorite.
However, fears arise every year when the number of invasive fish species also increases. This situation needs to be taken into account because it can interfere with balance and be a threat to the freshwater ecosystem of our country.
These fish come from other countries and are usually brought intentionally or unintentionally. One of the fish that is now a big threat is city fish.
Thus, various parties now double their efforts to catch these fish to ensure that freshwater fish in our country are not affected.
Recently, foreign fish hunting troops (SPIA) have conducted an operation to catch foreign fish in the Langan Selangor River.
Founder of Mohamad Haziq A Rahman or better known on Facebook as Tok Tuah Channel Haziq, said six species of foreign fish had been caught so far.

The fish are black tilapia (900 g), Java (4 kg), Siam (150 g), Africa (8 kg), Siam (7 kg) and city fish (532.2 kg).
“Thousands of city fish make ‘acrobatic actions’ on the surface of the river, this proves that the area has been paralyzed due to local fish breeding.
“City fish hunting operations are being carried out by foreign fish hunting troops,” he said in a post on July 23.
The operation was still ongoing and Haziq said it was also attended by the Selangor Fisheries Department (DOF).
In the comments room, many praised their efforts to catch fish and maintain freshwater ecosystems.
“Destroy ecosystems for other fish, continue the struggle to eliminate these immigrants,” said a netizen.
“Continue efforts to fisheries in the city because it damages the local fish ecosystem,” said another.
