Trump General 100 Percent Rate of Pharmaceutical Product Increase
Washington, September 26 (named -DPA) -US President Donald Trump on Thursday announced a 100 percent tariff on the Pharmacy Products of October 1, which can be avoided by producers if they built production facilities in the United States, the German News Agency (DPA) reported.
In shipping on the social platform of truth, Trump defines the construction of pharmaceutical factory as “innovative” or “being built.”
“Therefore, there is no tariff that will be charged on this pharmaceutical product if the construction has begun,” he said.
This tariff is expected to affect countries like India, which is a supplier of leading medicines to the US.
German pharmaceutical companies are also worried that the US market is their most important export market, which includes almost a quarter of Germany pharmaceutical exports.
