Makelele shares the reasons why “Galasticos 3.0” is difficult to realize
Kuala Lumpur – Former Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele has revealed that efforts to re -create the “Galacticos” era are now considered impossible, following major changes in the modern soccer landscape.
In an exclusive interview with the decree, makelele remembered the glory of “Los Galacticos” when he played with legendary players such as Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo Nazario, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos and Raul.
According to him, that era is not only unique but difficult to repeat in any modern team, including Real Madrid itself.
“At that time we had almost 28 great players (stars), all of them played for the national team, had big names and leadership. It was difficult to imagine everything that could happen again,” he said.
He also described the team as an inspiration for the concept of “Galactico”, which was originally seen in AC Milan, but was raised to a higher level by Real Madrid.
However, makelele stressed that the approach to restoring many stars in the team is no longer relevant.

He said the ego and personal priorities among young players today are the main obstacles in repeating great success in the early 2000s.
“At present the younger generation has many egos, and its success is different. You can no longer disturb all the best players and expect the same results,” he added.
Former birth player Kinshasa, Congo also commented on the position speculation of the position between Kylian Mbappe, Vinícius Junior and Rodrygo who were said to have affected the team’s performance, but denied it.
“This is a different generation. On my days, all focus on winning the trophy. If there are problems with attitudes, teammates like Ronaldo will suggest the importance of the team. In Madrid, there is nothing bigger than the club,” he said.
