Do not politicize the problem of student battle – Minister of Education
The Minister of Education, Fadhlina Sidek, emphasized that the problem of a fight involving two students in a school in Terengganu was not a political material.
“The defamation of the mother of the mother of one of the students involved with me is not responsible and evil. I have never known the individual,” he said in an official statement today.
According to Fadhlina, the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) has taken appropriate action through the Department of Tereated State Education (JPNT) based on the Standards of Operating Procedures (SOP) on intimidation and violations.
As a follow -up, he also directed the KPM integrity unit to conduct further investigations into this case.
“I have followed the development of this problem and want to be resolved immediately,” he added.
He added that Moe would not compromise in all forms of intimidation or violation.
“Strict actions must be taken against anyone who is guilty.
“All educational institutions must be safe for the welfare of students, teachers and all school children,” he said.
