KPN Mohd Khalid is not a member of a political party – GRDP

Kuala Lumpur, June 22 (named)-Malaysian Kingdom Police (GRDP) has confirmed that the new police chief Datuk series Mohd Khalid Ismail has never been a member or holding a position in any political party.

Secretary of the Datuk Kamaruzaman Abdullah said he took a serious report issued by a new newspaper that connects Mohd Khalid to a political party.

“The statement was not true, misleading and triggered a wrong perception, giving rise to doubts about the credibility of the national security forces.

“The GRDP also strongly reprimanded the negligence of the media in publishing information that was not carefully reviewed and had triggered the reputation of the team and individuals,” he said in a statement here today.

He said journalistic ethics must demand that every report issued must be confirmed by the facts, the cross -review and integrity process in writing.

Kamaruzaman also emphasized that the team was standing based on neutrality, integrity, and professionalism so that the GRDM would not allow any action that could affect public trust in the team.

“The GRDP remains committed to fulfilling the responsibility of maintaining national security and maintaining public order,” he said.
