Nearly 200,000 Jeep and Pickup Owners Receive Additional 100 Liters of BUDI Diesel – MOF

PUTRAJAYA, July 5 (Bernama) — Nearly 200,000 diesel pickup and jeep vehicle owners have been approved to get an additional 100 liters per month under BUDI MADANI Diesel (BUDI Diesel), bringing their total eligibility limit to 300 liters per month starting this July.

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) in a statement today informed that this number includes more than 174,000 residents in Peninsular Malaysia and more than 22,000 residents in Sabah, Sarawak and the Federal Territory of Labuan as of July 4.

These additional facilities are provided taking into account the need for higher diesel consumption among pickup and jeep owners, including for use by small and medium businesses as well as movement to rural and rural areas, according to the statement.

Meanwhile, Minister of Finance II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan in the same statement said that this additional facility helps vehicle owners to manage their monthly diesel needs.

“The government understands that for owners of diesel-fueled pickups and jeeps, these vehicles are not only used for daily travel, but are also used to earn a living and meet family needs.

“For this reason, additional facilities of 100 liters are provided. We hope that this additional facility can help them manage their monthly diesel needs better,” he said.

He said the government was also reviewing public input regarding the use of diesel vehicles owned by close family members or vehicles whose ownership records had not been updated.

For individual private diesel vehicles used by close family members who are different from the registered owner, the original recipient of BUDI Diesel can submit a request for transfer of rights through the official BUDI MADANI portal, taking into account the specified conditions and verification.

Alternatively, diesel vehicle users can also update their vehicle ownership records through the Road Transportation Department (JPJ).

The government has implemented a three-month exemption from fees for changing ownership rights for diesel vehicles starting July 1 2026 to facilitate this.

“This improvement shows that the implementation of BUDI Diesel will continue to be monitored and adjusted based on community input, so that the benefits of the subsidy reach the rightful recipients without opening up opportunities for leaks and smuggling,” he said.

Diesel pickup and jeep owners who wish to apply for an increase of 100 liters per month and transfer BUDI Diesel qualifications, can do so via the BUDI MADANI portal at www.budimadani.gov.my.

Meanwhile, Amir Hamzah said, more than 2,000 BUDI Diesel qualification transfer applications had been received through the portal.

Since the implementation of BUDI Diesel early access on 27 June 2026 to 4 July, more than 336,000 diesel transactions were recorded involving the purchase of 12.6 million liters of subsidized diesel, with more than RM23 million of subsidies covered by the MADANI government.

This sale includes the purchase of subsidized diesel at a price of RM2.15 per liter during early access and RM2.10 per liter from full implementation of BUDI Diesel on 1 July 2026.

“Targeted subsidies are a Government benefit for Malaysians who qualify. At the same time, targeting subsidies is important to ensure that the supply of subsidized diesel remains guaranteed and that assistance is not misused by parties who do not qualify,” he said.

Amir Hamzah said that the implementation of BUDI Diesel aims to ensure that government subsidies are distributed according to actual needs while closing loopholes and smuggling which costs the country billions of ringgit every year.

“The MADANI government will continue to monitor the implementation of BUDI Diesel and pay close attention to input from the public and industry to ensure that the benefits of subsidies reach eligible recipients, the supply of subsidized diesel remains guaranteed and leaks can continue to be suppressed,” he said.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
