MB Perlis Appoints United MPT Members, Perlis Focuses on Governance

KANGAR, July 9 (Bernama) — Perlis Chief Minister Abu Bakar Hamzah today announced his resignation as a member of the Supreme Leadership Council (MPT) of Parti Asli Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) to fully focus on running the state government until the end of the term of office of the State Legislative Council (DUN) next year.

Abu Bakar said that a letter of resignation had been sent to the Bersatu leadership last week, but he continued to serve as Chair of the Bersatu Perlis Leadership Body and Chair of the Kangar Bersatu Division.

He said the decision was taken so that he could fully focus on efforts to strengthen state administration, including attracting investment and achieving key performance indicators (KPI) as Chief Minister.

“I have not been able to fully commit to the Supreme Bersatu Leadership Council because of my busy schedule and various problems in Perlis, even though I only have about a year to continue state administration,” he said.

He conveyed this to journalists after attending a celebration event for the arrival of a delegation from Satun, Thailand along with the re-operation of the Kuala Perlis-Satun crossing service at Gedung Konkos Pier, Kuala Perlis, today.

The Kuala Perlis-Satun ferry service resumed operations today after being suspended since the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the opening ceremony of the Perlis State Assembly on June 3, Raja Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail ordered that Abu Bakar be given space to continue leading the country until the end of the term of office of the 15th State Assembly without any interruption.[asRajaPerlisTuankuSyedSirajuddinJamalullailbertitahagarAbuBakarwasgivenspacetocontinueleadingthecountryuntiltheendofthe15thtermoftheDUNwithoutanyinterference[asRajaPerlisTuankuSyedSirajuddinJamalullailbertitahagarAbuBakardiberiruanguntukterusmemimpinnegerisehinggaakhirpenggalDUNke-15tanpasebaranggangguan

Meanwhile, Abu Bakar said, based on his knowledge, Sena DPR Member who is also Exco of the Perlis State Government Datin Marzita Mansor also resigned as a Member of MPT Bersatu.

However, as of this writing, Bernama’s efforts to obtain confirmation from Marzita have not been successful.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
