“Prayers at my mosque (the Nabawi Mosque) are 1,000 times more important than prayers at other mosques, except at the Grand Mosque. Prayers at the Grand Mosque are 100,000 times more important than other mosques.”

In the Raudhah area, the congregation is allowed to perform various sunnah prayers, both absolute sunnah prayers and hajat prayers, as is permitted for sunnah prayers in Hijr Ismail. The scholars interpret this term in two senses, namely literally and figuratively. Literally, there is an opinion that believes that Raudhah will be transferred to heaven later on the Day of Judgment. Meanwhile, figuratively, Raudhah is a garden of heaven because this place is filled with goodness, dhikr, prayer and knowledge, just like the atmosphere in heaven.

Another special feature of Raudhah is that this place is the road that the Prophet Muhammad Ṣallallāhu ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam often passed when walking from his residence to the pulpit at the Nabawi Mosque.
