UPSI Bus Tragedy: List of 15 Victims
The State Assembly of Jerteh Dr. Riduan Mohd or shared a list of 15 victims’ identities killed in the Sultan Idris University of Education (UPSI) bus accident this morning.
According to a statement posted on the Facebook page, the victims identified were Fakhrul Arif Rosdi, Mohammad Aqil Taqiuddin Mohd Sofian, Muhammad Adib Hazim Halim, NIK Amni Nadiah Nik Moham, Nur Ainul Qistina Mat Maslihazan, Fatin Nasrien, Muhammad Mustaqim Rosde, Wan Nur Suhaila, Anis Soffiyya MD Zaidi and Nor Ayuni Maslan.
The accident that killed 15 UPSI students occurred in KM53, East-West Road (JRTB) near Lake Banding, Gerik. According to the police, the initial investigation found that the accident was caused when the bus was hit by the back of the Alza Multi -Purpose Vehicle (MPV) which caused the bus to be canceled.
