AmanahRaya Strengthens ESG Through 5R & Trash For Cash Initiatives
Amanah Raya Berhad (AmanahRaya) continues to strengthen the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) agenda through implementing the “AmanahRaya Love & Care: 5R & Trash for Cash” program in collaboration with SWCorp Federal Territories. This initiative reflects AmanahRaya’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing wise waste management, sustainable work culture, and increasing environmental awareness among employees.
This program is part of AmanahRaya’s ESG roadmap, towards achieving the 2030 sustainability target, especially in efforts to reduce operational waste and cultivate environmentally friendly practices throughout the organization.
The program, which was held at Vista Tower, The Intermark Kuala Lumpur, featured a variety of interactive and educational activities including a recycling campaign at the company level, 5R practice awareness sessions, a practical guide to waste separation by SWCorp Federal Territories as well as exhibitions related to ESG initiatives, recycling innovation and sustainable lifestyles.
Acting Group Managing Director who is also Chief Business and Operations Officer of AmanahRaya Group, Jack Yap Ngee Heong said, this initiative proves AmanahRaya’s commitment to implementing a culture of sustainability in the organization’s daily operations and corporate culture.
“Sustainability is a shared responsibility and change can start from the daily activities we carry out within the organization. Through programs like this, AmanahRaya seeks to foster environmental awareness and responsibility in the workplace while supporting the country’s sustainability aspirations,” he explained.
This program received an encouraging response from AmanahRaya Group employees by successfully collecting approximately 730 kilograms of recycled materials.
Since the ESG plan was introduced in 2023, AmanahRaya has implemented various sustainability initiatives focused on reducing waste from the company’s direct operations. These efforts succeeded in exceeding the initial target of reducing operational waste by 10%.
Measures that have been implemented include reducing paper use through digitalization initiatives, minimizing printing practices, and eliminating the use of single-use plastic water bottles in the company’s internal and external programs.
AmanahRaya is committed to achieving the ESG target of reducing operational waste by 30% by 2030 through implementing sustainable practices, employee involvement and ongoing environmental awareness programs.
As the only Public Trustee in Malaysia, AmanahRaya believes that business sustainability is not only based on core products and services, but also through corporate social practices that provide added value and a positive impact on society and the environment as a whole.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
