Hajj 2025: Malaysian pilgrims are safe to undergo heart surgery
A pilgrim from Malaysia, Zurina Mat Hussin, 60, from College 85, Terengganu, was saved through heart surgery carried out by Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement by the Saudi Ministry of Health, Zurina suffered a heart attack during a pilgrimage and immediately received treatment at King Abdullah Medical City.
After undergoing medical procedures, he was registered in the long -term health monitoring program run by Seha Virtual Hospital, under the supervision of the Saudi government.
His health condition is currently monitored through the use of a special smart device for heart monitoring.
The treatment results received allowed him to secure the pilgrimage safely, while his health continued to be monitored remotely.
The Saudi Ministry of Health also informed that the case reflected the country’s medical ability and showed the government’s high commitment to protect the safety and welfare of all pilgrims.
