Honda Malaysia Increases Hybrid Ownership Value With 10 Year Warranty

Honda Malaysia (or the Company) continues to strengthen its position in hybrid technology through its “Hybrid Done Right” campaign. Running from April 1 to June 30 2026, this campaign emphasizes the durability, reliability and true performance of Honda’s e:HEV technology, while featuring various exciting programs to showcase the benefits of this technology and offer special rewards to customers.

Starting May 1, 2026, customers who purchase the Honda e:HEV model will enjoy additional assurance through a 10-year battery and hybrid component guarantee with unlimited mileage.

This upgrade reflects Honda’s high confidence in the long-term durability and performance of its hybrid batteries, while underscoring the strength and relevance of e:HEV technology in emerging markets.

With a comprehensive e:HEV range, this 10-year warranty includes new models such as the City e:HEV, City Hatchback e:HEV, HR-V e:HEV, Civic e:HEV and the new CR-V e:HEV, while increasing customer ownership value and long-term confidence.

Customers of e:HEV as well as previous generation i-DCD models (Jazz, City and HR-V) also benefit from this upgrade. Hybrid battery warranties are now extended from 8 years to 10 years with unlimited mileage, while certain hybrid components are now covered for up to 10 years, up from 5 years previously, to ensure peace of mind during ownership.

To further increase customer confidence, Honda Malaysia also provides battery and hybrid component warranty protection to owners of e:HEV and i-DCD models. The next owner is still entitled to enjoy this protection when ownership is changed, valid until the 10th year of the guarantee period.
