In the video lasting several seconds, the snake is seen moving calmly on the surface of the water near the Neo Grand Hotel, causing shock and anxiety among residents.

Around 4,000 Malaysians were affected by the floods
Previously, SK reported that around 4,000 Malaysians in Hat Yai and surrounding areas were affected by the ongoing floods, but all were reported to be safe, according to the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a statement, the ministry said on Saturday afternoon that most of those affected were staying in high-rise hotels, although some experienced temporary disruption to electricity supplies and access to food due to local disruptions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Malaysian Consulate General in Songkhla and the Malaysian Embassy in Bangkok continues to monitor the flood situation and will provide the latest information regarding the situation there if necessary.
βThe Indonesian Consulate General in Songkhla has activated its operations team to help Malaysians who may be stranded or need assistance.
“The Consulate General is also in close contact with local authorities, hotels and Malaysian citizen groups in the affected areas,” according to the statement.
