Sentence Basmalah or Bismillāhir-Raḥmanir-Raḥīm is one of the greatest sentences in Islamic teachings and has a very special position in the lives of Muslims. Opening Sentences in the Qur’an
In the work entitled The Mystery of Basmalah written by Samsurrohman Al-Kalanji, it is stated that the sentence Basmalah opens 113 of the 114 surahs in the Koran. The only letter that does not begin with basmalah is the At-Taubah letter. This shows how important and great this sentence is in the structure of the Divine revelation revealed to the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam.

Hadith about Basmalah
Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam said in a hadith:
“Every important matter that does not start with Bismillah will have its blessings cut off.”
(HR. Abu Dawud)
Apart from that, another hadith also explains the importance of reciting basmalah when you want to enter the house or start eating:
“If someone enters his house and mentions the name of Allah while entering and eating, then Satan says: ‘There is no place for us to stay or eat dinner here’.”
