An experienced paragliding activist known as OU explained that those who participated in sports are usually equipped with cold -resistant clothes. This is because the temperature at 2,000 meters is enough to shiver.
At 8,000 meters, temperatures can drop to -40 ° C with very low oxygen levels.
According to Jiapu News, OU also stated that such incidents were very rare. Most of the victims trapped in the clouds at an altitude of about 6,000 to 7,000 meters are difficult to survive.
“This incident is indeed extraordinary. His mental endurance is really great,” he said.

The source close to the incident informed that even though the paraglider had a valid license, he was believed to have not submitted an official flight plan and did not get the approval of the air space for the launch location on the day of the incident.
It is understood that the authorities are currently investigating the possibility of violations of law relating to air activities.
For information, in accordance with China’s national air sports regulations, all flight activities require previous approval from air traffic control, and every individual who violates this rule can be subject to action.
