Illegal residential buildings are starting to be demolished now, carried out by land owners
Illegal settlements in Kampung Sungai Makau, Hulu Langat began to be demolished today.
Dusun Tua DPRD member Datuk Johan Abd Aziz informed the development via his Facebook page.
“The demolition of buildings in the area was carried out by the land owner himself and is currently in the process of being implemented,” he said.
Through the video he shared, you can see the condition of the building structure which has been dismantled.
Last Tuesday, he informed that the problem of settlements and construction of buildings without permits in the area stems from the actions of the land owner who permitted the use of the land for this purpose.
Johan explained that this problem was not new and had been raised at the Hulu Langat Regency Action Meeting since last year to get attention and action from the relevant agencies.
“For your information, various enforcement, monitoring and operational actions have been carried out by the relevant agencies.
However, the main cause was the actions of land owners who permitted the use of land for residential purposes and construction of buildings without approval, including providing utility facilities such as water and electricity supplies, he said.
