Be careful, heavy rain is expected to hit several areas in three states until early morning.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a warning for heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds three countries until 12 midnight This.

Situation in Sarawak also shows bad weather in some areas. Among the districts listed by MetMalaysia include Kapit (Kapit, Bukit Mabong and Belaga), Bintulu and Miri (Subis, Beluru and Telang Usan) districts.

A warning is given if there are signs of an impending thunderstorm with a rain intensity exceeding 20 mm/hour that is near or is expected to occur for more than one hour.

“A thunderstorm warning is a short-term warning valid for a period of not more than six hours for a single issue,” explained MetMalaysia.
